Dr Nele F Lenders

Dr Nele Lenders is an endocrinologist with a commitment to providing excellent and evidence-based care to patients. She has a special interest in pituitary disease, sports endocrinology, metabolic disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), functional hypothalamic amenorrhea (FHA), menopause and bone health. She also accepts referrals for a range of general endocrine conditions, including adrenal disease, diabetes and thyroid disorders.

Nele has a PhD in Pituitary Disease, completed through the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and University of New South Wales. She has a passion for research and its translation to clinical practice. She has numerous publications in the field of endocrinology and regularly presents at national and international conferences. Nele is a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Hospital (Sydney) and is a Lecturer with UNSW School of Medicine.

In her spare time, Nele enjoys cooking, spending time with family, her dog, playing sport and running marathons.
